1. Data controller

The controller of the data collected on this site is:

Given the size of the organisation and the nature of the processing carried out, the publisher is not required to appoint a data protection officer. Requests relating to personal data are handled directly by the controller, at the address above.

2. Data collected

Data you send us voluntarily. It is collected only through the request form. No data is collected without your knowledge when you simply browse the pages.

Fields common to all requests:

• The type of organisation you represent
• The name of your organisation
• The country and the city
• Your name and role
• Your work email address
• The period envisaged for the session
• The preferred format, video call or on site

Additional fields if you represent an educational institution:

• The type of institution
• The language taught
• The programme or course concerned
• The group's level according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages
• The number of learners
• The topic being studied

Additional fields if you represent a company:

• The type of activity envisaged
• The number of participants
• The context of the activity

Finally, an optional free-text message, whose content you alone decide.

Technical data. The site's hosting provider automatically records, in its connection logs, the IP address, the date and time of the request, the page requested and the browser type. These logs serve solely the security and proper operation of the server. They are not used for traffic analysis and are not matched against form data.

Data we do not collect. We collect no special category data within the meaning of article 9 of the GDPR, that is no data relating to health, political opinions, religious beliefs, ethnic origin, sexual orientation or trade union membership. Please do not mention any such data in the free-text field.

3. Purposes and legal bases

Your data is not used for any unsolicited marketing. You will not be added to a mailing list merely because you sent a request.

4. Mandatory or optional fields

The fields marked as mandatory in the form are necessary to process your request. Without them, we cannot send you a proposal. The other fields are optional and leaving them blank has no effect on how your request is handled.

5. Recipients of the data

Your data is accessible only to the controller.

It is not sold, rented, transferred or exchanged with third parties for commercial purposes.

It may be disclosed to the following categories of recipients, strictly to the extent necessary:

• The provider hosting the site and the associated mailbox, acting as a processor within the meaning of article 28 of the GDPR, which accesses the data only for the technical needs of hosting
• The professional speaker considered for your project, to whom only the elements needed to prepare the session are passed on, namely the name of the organisation, the country, the topic, the level and the size of the group. Your personal contact details are not disclosed to them without your agreement
• Accounting professionals and administrative or judicial authorities, in the event of a legal obligation or a formal request

6. Hosting and location of the data

The site, the request form and the associated professional mailbox are hosted by Hostinger International Ltd, on servers located in the European Union.

The data entered in the form passes through no third-party form processing service. It is sent directly to the hosting server, then routed to the controller's professional mailbox, hosted on that same European infrastructure.

No transfer of your data outside the European Union takes place.

Should this arrangement change, this policy would be updated before any new transfer, and the appropriate safeguards provided for in Chapter V of the GDPR would be put in place.

7. Retention periods

At the end of these periods, the data is permanently deleted.

8. Security

The site is accessible exclusively over HTTPS, using a valid TLS certificate. Data sent through the form is therefore encrypted in transit.

Access to the mailbox and to the hosting space is protected by personal credentials and two-factor authentication. Access is limited to the controller alone.

The form includes an anti-bot measure that collects no additional personal data and relies on no tracker.

As no security measure is infallible, we invite you not to include confidential or sensitive information in the free-text field.

9. Your rights

In accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation and the French Data Protection Act, you have the following rights over your data:

• Right of access, to obtain confirmation that your data is processed and to receive a copy of it
• Right to rectification, to correct inaccurate data or complete it
• Right to erasure, in the cases provided for by article 17 of the GDPR
• Right to restriction of processing
• Right to object, on grounds relating to your particular situation
• Right to portability, to receive your data in a structured, machine-readable format
• Right to withdraw your consent at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out before that withdrawal
• Right to give instructions as to what becomes of your data after your death

How to exercise these rights. Send your request to contact@culturetoconnect.com, stating the right you wish to exercise. You will receive a reply within one month of receipt of the request. That period may be extended by two months for a complex request, in which case you will be informed.

Proof of identity may be requested if there is reasonable doubt about the identity of the person making the request. That proof is destroyed as soon as the reply is given.

Complaint. If, after contacting us, you consider that your rights are not respected, you may lodge a complaint with the French data protection authority:

10. No cookies

This site sets no cookies on your device. It uses no analytics tool, no tracking pixel, no advertising network, no font loaded from a third-party server and no embedded content from an external platform.

No consent is therefore required under article 82 of the French Data Protection Act, and no cookie banner is displayed.

Should an analytics tool be added later, this policy would be updated and, where required, a compliant consent mechanism would be put in place before anything is stored.

11. No automated decision-making

No decision producing legal effects concerning you is taken on the basis of automated processing. No profiling is carried out. Every request is read and handled by a person.

12. Data on learners and participants

The site's form collects no personal data about learners, pupils, students or participants. The information requested about the group is exclusively collective and anonymous, namely the level, the size and the topic.

If, when preparing or running a session, an exchange of personal data about learners were to prove necessary, for example named questions prepared by a group, it would be covered by a separate written agreement between the institution and the controller, setting out the respective roles of the parties and the applicable safeguards. Institutions subject to specific obligations regarding minors' data may request such an agreement from the first exchange onwards.

13. People located outside the European Union

This policy applies to anyone using the form, whatever their country of residence.

If you are located in Colombia, your data is also processed in accordance with the principles of Law 1581 of 2012 on the protection of personal data. You may exercise your rights of access, updating, rectification and deletion in the same way as set out in section 9, at contact@culturetoconnect.com.

If you are located in another Latin American country, the rights described in section 9 are granted to you in the same way, without any need to invoke a specific text.

14. Changes to this policy

This policy may be amended to reflect changes to the site, to the activity or to the applicable rules. The date of the last update appears at the top of the page. In the event of a substantial change affecting processing already carried out, the persons concerned are informed by email. This page is a translation of the French version; in the event of any divergence of interpretation, the French version prevails.
